BIO: Sapphire's Blue notes was created on June 28,, 2013 as a LIVE music and concert band that basely was to perform the rhythm and blues music from 1960's to the mid- 1990's. Later as the band started to grow in both size and music. The music list included R&B, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Country, Funk and even a easy listening like the sounds of Sammy Davis Jr, and/ or Johnny Mathis. This band can cover any size venue, however our services would greatly prefer music theatres, large concerts halls, and large corporate seasonal events. In 2016 Sapphire's Blue Notes has been invited to created and team up with major songwriters to create a flavor of music that can be beautifully blended with today sounds but with an old school flair that every music lover can enjoy. This band is lead by the band's owner, Linda Evans who has a very unique voice when singing music. She is the first female vocalist who voice range can do alto, tenor, baritone and bass to make any male singer. Her favor music is Funk and she is a major fan of the original Ohio Players where that band was lead by Sugarfoot Bonner. Ms. Evans dad, Bernard Wilson created his own band called "The Original Blue Notes" before he joined with Harold Melvin to create Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes in the 1970's. Bernard Wilson wrote the greatest song of, If you don't know me by now" which was taken from love letter that was written to her mother. Wilson also wrote other songs that was stolen from him. To make a long story short. We are a band that has over 40,000 covers songs that can be re-born from several genres of music.
